What is CUET Examination.

Common University Entrance Test (Common Entrance Test).
From the Academic session 2022-2023, admission to undergraduate programes in all centralized universities in the country will take place through a common entrance test.
It will be Conducted in 13 Languages. ( Hindi, Marathi, Gujrati, Tamil, Telgu, Kannada, Malyalam, Urdu, Assamese, English, Punjabi, Odia and Bengali).

Admission to any Central Universities will be based only on CUET Scores and class 12th Board marks will not carry any weigthtage.

It is a computer based assesment test.

It is divided in three Sections.

SECTION 1: Language Test

SECTION 2: Domain Subject Test

SECTION 3: General Test

Section 1a :- It is a compulsary section, where the student can choose the language of their choice. (13 Languages)

Section 1b :- It is a optional section for the students who they want's to choose another language, apart from the ones that are part of Section 1a.

40 question to be attempted out of 50 in each Language.

Section 2 :-  Domain Centric subject Section, Here the student can choose upto maximum of 6 domains out of 27 options that they want to persue at the UG level.

35/40 question to be attempted out of 45/50 questions.

Section 3:-  It is again Optional, It containg GK, Apptitude, Reasoining. Candidates will have to sit for only if the scores are required by the University they are applying to.

It has (Maths, Genral Mental Ability, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning and General Knowledge)

50 questions to be attempted out of 60 questions.
